Sales Program Analyst, Pricing Policies

Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Sales Program Analyst, Pricing Policies to join our Sales Operations team. You will be the primary point of contact for price proposals and promo grid for assigned product categories, including financial analysis, understanding the sales channels, and competitive impact.

This position will be based out of Epson America's headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA office with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.



Principle Accountabilities

In addition to the following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews product management price proposal submissions for completion and correctness and verifies market conditions.
  • Develops financial analysis for executive management review.
  • Communicates approved pricing to the organization.
  • Provides adhoc pricing reports as requested.


Promotions:

  • Maintain accuracy of all promotion communication for assigned categories. This includes:
  • Consolidate promo grid changes with other analysts monthly and as needed.
  • Communicate key promotional changes on an adhoc basis.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new programs communicated to resellers and end users.


Compliance:

  • Researches direct/indirect reseller sites for compliance as required.
  • Maintains a list of all active policies and covered products updating databases as necessary and ensures the accuracy of current policies on company websites.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving pricing and advertising policies.
  • Oversees monitoring of 3rd party advertising and compliance and makes recommendations for observed non-compliance.
  • Provides guidance for responding to general policy questions sent to company designated email addresses.


Required Skills:

  • Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.).
  • Requires some specialist or admin experience (2-5 years).
  • Excel skills: intermediate to advanced.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Ability to drive and execute on initiatives provided by Department Manager.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • High level of energy and passion for getting the job done right.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Take ownership of a task through completion.
  • Flexibility and openness to change/improvements.
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert in the assigned channels’ programs area.
  • Self-starter with initiative to seek input from other team members.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
