The Virtual Sales Consultant is accountable for driving new customer acquisition, fostering deeper relationships with existing customers and supporting the digital channel customer experience. These individuals will be part of a dynamic, results-driven, collegial sales team that will connect directly with customers via phone, chat and other virtual channels. Through collaboration with multiple lines of business, Virtual Sales Consultant will perform targeted customer outreach and/or leverage inbound customer sales requests to achieve individual and team sales and revenue goals via a consistent sales processes.
Virtual Sales Consultants will specialize, as necessary, within specific product categories.
Responsible for selling Associated Bank products to existing customers and prospects. Responsible for expanding and deepening customer relationships by identifying and matching customer needs throughout Trust, Business Banking, Private Banking and Retail Departments.
This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.
Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.

Sales Inbound/Outbound - Revenue Focus
• Convert sales opportunities received through inbound customer requests and/or perform targeted outbound calling to new and existing customers to achieve desired sales outcomes.
• Responsible for the sales fulfillment through internal partners and systems to deliver the product/service to the customer. Requires understanding of sales, products, benefits, account ownership, forms, and procedures.
• Leverage the defined sales and customer processes and activities, in alignment to Associated's Brand and Customer Experience Standards
• Provide financial advice and counsel to clients and prospective clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment and general banking trends through bank approved sources, while providing an enhanced client experience.
• Identify needs and refer customers to business partners within and across lines of business who can best meet those needs.
