Acting as a pivotal member to the department’s staff, the Clinical Biomedical Engineer must be readily available to provide their expertise and knowledge during any pressing situation that may arise.
Actively participating in the clinical engineering department’s daily rounds, the Clinical Biomedical Engineer must be an active team member that abides by the safety rules that are set in place within this hospital. Working in compliance with the standards set in place by the department, the Clinical Biomedical Engineer will be expected to act as a role and work continuously to meet specific expectations set by the clinical engineering department. The Clinical Biomedical Engineer will be required to take appropriate action during any engineering emergency situation, and maintain their composure in doing so. Promoting unity and continuous education within the department, the Clinical Biomedical Engineer must be tasked participating in the planning and facilitating trainings to meet the educational needs of the staff.
