Volunteers of America is opening a new Fresh Start Recovery Center in Evansville. We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional to join our Evansville Fresh Start Program team. Fresh Start is a family-focused residential addictions treatment program for mothers and their children. The Fresh Start Recovery Centers focus on helping mothers recover from opioid and other drug addictions and have healthy children. Fresh Start Recovery Centers serve pregnant women and mothers struggling with addiction. Our residential treatment provides 24/7 support to clients. This program uniquely allows mothers and children to remain together during treatment.
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for monitoring the transportation needs and client flow of the Residential Programs and facility in accordance with DMHA, Department of Child Services, and VOA policies and procedures.

The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Certification in first aid and CPR preferred. A valid state driver’s license is required. It requires the ability to communicate in writing and orally. Education or experience working in human services preferred. Good recordkeeping, math, computer and leadership skills are essential.
Must be able to pass a state, county, and DCS background check.
