Robert Half Finance Accounting is looking for a Director of Finance and Administration for our client located in North Austin. The Director of Finance and Administration is a strategic position, which reports to the President and is a member of the senior leadership team. The mission of this team is to drive the success of the company in terms of meeting the needs of the business?s key stakeholders: ownership, customers, and employees. As a member of this team, the Director of Finance and Administration: ? Partners with the senior leadership team to create and drive strategic initiatives. ? Serves as a key liaison with ownership (including parent and related companies) with regard to assigned functions and partners with the senior leadership team to prepare for, and participate in, presentations to, and meetings with, ownership. ? Manages key vendor relationships, which include production, facilities, telecom, and business systems. ? Participates in M A activities including selection of targets, due diligence, scenario analyses, deal formation, deal execution, and integration. ? Directs the finance, IT, and HR functions.

Job Requirements

Education ? BS degree in Accounting or Finance ? CPA and MBA (desired) Experience ? 15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance with 5 years in management roles ? Prior experience serving on senior leadership teams (desired) ? Proven top performer and team player in past positions Knowledge of ? Finance, accounting, project accounting, budgeting, cost control, and software revenue recognition principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) ? Federal and state financial and HR regulations, corporate tax, risk management, IT management, HR management, and employee benefits programs Competencies ? Integrity ? Business acumen and desire to partner with the senior leadership team to create and drive strategic initiatives ? Team builder who recruits, hires, coaches, evaluates, and retains Top Performers and Ideal Team Players ? Change leadership and ability to motivate teams to produce high quality work while simultaneously driving key initiatives to improve business outcomes ? Modeling and analysis skills and ability to see beyond data to identify issues and opportunities and the actions need to improve business outcomes ? Organization and planning skills ? Written and verbal communication skills as well as business presentation skills ? Negotiation skills ? Computer skills and aptitude to leverage CRM systems, accounting systems, and Excel to accomplish job functions Work schedule and travel ? Motivation and flexibility to work as required to meet business needs ? Domestic travel required
