A top ranked Hospital in Southern California is actively seeking a Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU to join their team. 

The Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU will work for an acute care hospital known for their exceptional pediatric care programs, trauma center, state-of-the-art facility, and world-class specialists. This non-profit, 400+ bed hospital employs over 1,5000 nurses, 5,000+ employees, and 1,0000 physicians who are all dedicated to providing exceptional, high-quality patient care. Specialized in pediatric care, this accredited hospital offers an array of inpatient and outpatient specialized services, including a Level III and Level IV NICU, Pediatric Trauma Center, Cancer Center, and advanced surgical department. 

This Magnet designated hospital’s Neonatology division is home to world class neonatologists who are specialized in caring for the most critically ill newborns, many of whom are born very premature or suffer several heart and lung conditions. Administrative and clinical responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU will include overseeing operational workflow over the high acuity Level III and Level IV 50+ bed NICU, staffing the department, managing the budget, updating policy procedures, and partnering with the Nurse Educator to develop educational curriculum offered to new hire and current department staff. 

The Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU will have previous management experience and a clinical background working in a Level III or Level IV NICU. Ideally the Nurse Manager NICU should hold their BSN (Master’s preferred) and California Registered Nurse RN license.
