Clinical Nurse Coordinator Registered Nurse - Burn Trauma ICU
Full Time Nights 7P-7A
Rotating Weekends 

We are currently offering a SIGN ON BONUS OF $15,000 for eligible candidates!  Relocation assistance may also be available.

Under the general supervision of the unit’s director or designee the Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit on his/her designated shifts. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit or department.  
Medical City Plano’s Burn & Reconstructive Center of Texas, provides high-level, comprehensive burn treatment, repair and reconstruction surgery, critical care and outpatient services to patients from Collin County as well as parts of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Louisiana.  Our Burn Trauma ICU has expanded to 30 beds in our newly opened Sarah Cannon Oncology tower!

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN required
  • Current TX RN license or RN compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Certification in specialty required within 1 year
  • Completion of charge nurse course required within 1 year
  • Other leadership training and activity in processional organizations highly preferred
  • 2 years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/management experience is preferred
