POSITION SUMMARY:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. •Source, screen and recruit for all Rocky Brands positions by utilizing various recruitment tools such as, but not limited to, the Company Human Resource Information System (HRIS), LinkedIn Recruiter, CareerBuilder, Handshake, America’s Job Exchange, social media, diversity job boards and networks, and other good faith effort channels.
•Attract applicants by posting internal career opportunities and placing external job advertisements.
•Responsible for marketing the Company as an Employer of Choice through social media platforms.
•Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future staffing and business needs, job duties, qualifications and skills.
•Determine applicant qualifications by studying job description and job qualifications; analyzing the information provided on a prospective employee’s application form; screening and interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements; verifying references, education and background.
•Execute the Employment Contingency Process, including background investigations, pre-employment testing and reference checks, and determine employment candidate’s eligibility for employment.
•Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
•Arrange interviews by facilitating schedules; arranging travel and lodging; escorting applicant to interviews; and arranging community tours

A well-qualified candidate will possess:  


•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent from a four-year College or one (1) to three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•One (1) year of experience in Human Resources.
•Knowledge of the principles and best practices of human resources management.
•Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak to large groups.
•Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
•Intermediate level of skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Hands-on experience with Human resources Information software.
•Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
•Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and governmental compliance requirements, knowledge of immigration laws.
•Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with essential job functions.
•Ability to interpret regulations and laws.
