This position is responsible for forecasting and analyzing the organization. They are responsible for partnering with business leaders to ensure forecasts accurately represent business conditions. They will be providing visibility via timely and accurate reporting of financial performance on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. They will be providing plant trends versus benchmarks and identifying opportunities to improve yields and profitability to the Plant Managers and Controllers.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical and technical abilities with the ability to communicate complex topics in a summary fashion to drive actionable solutions.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the costing and sales pricing matrix for all products and services
•Support pricing team for new business
•Review / understand processes and manufacturing processes costs and labor in order to create the right price and cost matrixes
•Build and maintain financial models
•Evaluate and recommend alternative pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analyses and trends
•Collaborate with Sales, R&D and production and Finance teams’ toms to project pricing and profit for a range of services and products
•Gather summarize and analyze detained data
•Maintain integrity of pricing system in accordance with compliance regulations and company policy.
•Coordinate approval process for price changes initiated by sales and marketing through the company’s internal ERP tracking software program
•Document the pricing changes such as expirations, renewals, and SKU additions through the Price Change Request Log as a reference for internal and external audits.
•Modify and customize excel sheets containing new pricing/accommodations/exceptions per customer as approved by CEO, finance, sales and perform customer information model
•Manage customer master files and determine their pricing discount structure based on sales volume provided in financial reports.
•Analyze pricing scenarios and resolve pricing discrepancies for customer service, commercial finance, accounts receivable, sales, and marketing.
•Create reports on customer activity such as monthly sales per product line sold and present to management in order to discuss profit and loss from current pricing structures.
Required Experience and Education:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field of study, knowledge related to the job and 7 years of progressive job-related experience in a manufacturing environment, with food industry experience and/or Standard Cost Accounting experience preferred.
