Planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff will be essential for this role. You will succeed in this position if you can lead with integrity and reliability and have the ability to manage self and others with urgency, practicality and accountability when providing client services. This full-time position is for a Controller who will work in the Little Rock, Arkansas region. Ideal candidate must have at least 150M in revenue experience at controller level. What you get to do every day - Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation - Assess deliverables of self and team to verify they meet client expectations - Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis - Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual - Prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, daily cash management - Guide all operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings collections, and payroll - Research, plan and implement Finance Department initiatives including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed - Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies - Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations G/L analysis - Give executive committee and partners monthly financial reports - Respond on items beyond formal job responsibilities

Job Requirements

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Past work in technology, analytics and management experience highly valued - Annual Financial Reporting experience - Great Plains (GPAC) experience - Knowledge of account reconciliation - Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus - Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller preferred - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus - CPA or MBA preferred - Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
