The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for design in conjunction with multidisciplinary engineering team, to develop new products, support ongoing manufacturing activities, and new product introduction (NPI) for medical devices

Client Details

Our client is a start up FDA approved Class II medical device company located in Cambridge. They are a small company but rapidly growing.

Description

A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer would be responsible for some of the following:

  • Identifies and analyzes design problems to achieve optimal solutions that satisfy technical requirements using both internal and external technical resources
  • Formulates new, innovative approaches to solve technical problems on a consistent basis
  • Uses engineering and quality process improvements that impact the business via use of best industry practices
  • Leads development of product specifications, risk documents and conducts technical and design reviews
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of Design History Files
  • Insures project deliverables meet global requirements (Regulatory, Corporate, Notified Body, etc., as required)
  • Supports and participates during internal and external audits / inspections as needed

Profile

A successful Senior Manufacturing Engineer should have the following:

  • BS Mechanical Enginering or Biomedical Engineering
  • 3-7 years of experince
  • Previous start up experince
  • Experience with Manufacturing
  • Experience with some Quality
  • Experience with single use disposables is a plus
  • Self-starter, independent worker, multitasker
  • Lead
