EV Technology Program Manager
Position Overview
Navistar eMobility technology strategy has an exciting opportunity for a EV technology Project Manager .
The Project Manager will report to the Director of EV Technology to represent Navistar requirements within the TRATON Group Industrial Operations and Global Product Management activities
In this role, you will gather Navistar specific requirements and coordinate the cross-brand implementation of various EV technology. Participating in the selection decisions and implementation planning, this role is a evaluates technical capability and maturity, alignment with planning activities, development of business cases, and participation at the TRATON Group level seeking Global solutions.
Based a solid technical foundation, this role requires self determination to create and conclude the analysis of alternatives using sound business rationale.
Responsibilities

Creating project plans and leading Navistar and Group matrix organization s to perform technology down selection

Develop cross functional planning for engineering and production execution from the ideation to program initiation phases

Ensuring Group solutions meet Navistar needs and requirements

Collaboration with the TRATON brands to seek balanced solutions

Strong planning, organization, and presentation skills as this role has multi-national exposure to Navistar and TRATON Senior Leadership

Motivating, developing, and providing leadership to matrixed teams
Minimum Requirements
-
Master’s degree
-
At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience

At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
-
At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
-
At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
-
At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
