Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Analyst (Distressed Supplier) to join the Contracts and Risk Management team in Hazelwood, Missouri (and additional locations.)

The selected candidate will be a key member of the Contracts and Risk Management team supporting the supply chain by implementing and conducting a proactive, comprehensive risk assessment and approach to addressing financially distressed suppliers. The selected candidate will identify and collect data to understand the issues affecting distressed suppliers, navigate through unique supplier situations, and implement risk mitigation plans.

A qualified candidate will be able to engage and provide guidance to a cross-functional team to collect information and develop recommendations to the Supply Chain. The Analyst will utilize available data from supply chain, engineering, finance, legal, Enterprise Credit Risk, and other functions to develop a comprehensive summary of impacts, provide recommended risk mitigation measures, and ensure alignment across various functions.

Position Responsibilities:

* Serve as a Boeing Designated Expert on Financially Distressed Suppliers
* Work with internal stakeholders (Supply chain, Law Department, Finance, Enterprise Credit Risk, Program and others) to identify and evaluate warnings of supplier distress and supply chain impacts
* Investigate, review, and analyze data, including financial information, debt levels, ownership structure, client base and products, inventory, and other external data
* Perform contract review of key terms and conditions to determine rights and remedies and potential exit strategies
* Develop risk mitigation plans and recommendations, and communicate impacts and recommendations at all levels
* Ensure alignment across various functions
* Create standard processes, tracking system, and develop metrics

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* More than 5 years of experience in supplier management, supply chain management and/or contracts
* Experience researching and analyzing data
* Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
* Experience in project management
* Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives
* Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* Bachelor's degree or higher
* Background in Finance or Economics
* Ability to allocate attention to changing business priorities

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 15 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $161,000
