Description:

Benchmark Human Services is seeking an experience truck driver to serve our Industrial Services division.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and perform daily pick-ups and deliveries as established by the Director of Industrial Services or Shipping Coordinator at the Richmond location on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform material/supply pick-ups for the general agency, adhering to related procedures.

2. Organize the pick-up and delivery schedule on a daily basis based on the needs relayed by the Director or Shipping Coordinator.

3. Communicate customer pick-up and delivery needs as related during customer shipping and receiving personnel contact.

4. Assists in preparation of shipments as requested.

5. Operate agency forklifts for loading and unloading shipments, and to assist in workshop general organization as requested.

6. Monitor outgoing shipments to customers to assist in screening for proper shipping documentation.

7. Monitor received shipments to assist in screening for packing slip content verification.

8. Performs daily, weekly and monthly vehicle/tow motor inspections for preventative maintenance needs and makes recommendations for repair as requested/ required.

9. Maintain and organizes warehouse.

10. Reasonable suspicion of a crime against an ICF/MR resident must be reported to Indiana State Department of Health and Law Enforcement (Elder Justice Act).

11. Must maintain good attendance throughout employment

12. Assist with clients with break/restroom periods as needed.

13. Assist with any production needs as requested.

14. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.

15. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Reliable and dependable work habits
2. Working knowledge of shipping, receiving and general material handling procedures
3. Experience in forklift operation, including forklift operation license
4. Valid drivers license.
5. High School diploma or equivalent
