Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently working on an outstanding Manufacturing Operations Manager role for a company in the City of Industry, CA area. This is a full time, Direct hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

•Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily manufacturing operation through Value Stream Managers and Cell Managers.

•Develop manufacturing financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; and minimizing the impact of variances.

•Review manufacturing results on a continuous basis; compare against developed standards and take action to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to improve unsatisfactory performance.

•Develop plans for efficient use of resources, to include materials, equipment and personnel.

•Evaluate and improve plant processes and controls aimed at continuous production improvements.

•Ensure that organization activities and manufacturing operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s degree in Technical\Management discipline and 10+ years of relevant operations experience; with track record of increasing responsibility. (MBA a plus)

•Ability to manage multiple, complex tasks and deal with pressure from a fast paced, dynamic daily production schedule

•Ability to report, analyze & interpret financial and operating data/variances; skilled at developing and implementing countermeasures where applicable.

•Strong understanding, commitment, and proven track record in meeting safety & environmental requirements/regulations.
