Having recently closed our largest round of financing to date, we are now accelerating our growth and are looking for a senior digital marketing and partnerships leader to lead our audience growth efforts. Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, and working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Audience Growth will be responsible for creating innovative digital marketing campaigns and partnerships that build awareness and drive traffic to support the growth of our unique content, commerce & community business model.

In this role, you’ll be working hand-in-hand with a high-performing, motivated cross-functional team to create innovative digital marketing campaigns, bring partner/brand collaborations to life, and manage strategies, budgets, and KPIs that dramatically accelerate audience growth across Company’s platform and channels.

  • • Develop, execute, and optimize marketing strategies that drive audience growth and engagement across the Company ecosystem
  • • Attract, recruit, coach, and retain top talent within your 7+ person team
  • • Nurture a team culture that prioritizes rapid testing, analysis, and iteration
  • • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to build consensus around a shared audience growth vision
  • • Develop, test into, and optimize paid and organic marketing programs (paid search, SEO, social, affiliate, display) 
  • • Leverage best-in-class lifecycle marketing practices to accelerate content engagement, as well as retention and repeat rates 
  • • Create marketing strategies to promote major brand tent poles/events, product and editorial launches
  • • Identify and implement new and innovative ways to nurture and retain audiences across their lifecycle
  • • Ideate and assess partnership opportunities, negotiate terms, lead implementation, and evaluate the short and long-term success of each
  • • Evaluate, hire, and develop relationships with existing and new platforms, agencies, and vendors
  • • Influence content & product strategies, working closely with product, technology, design, and editorial to translate insights into meaningful audience growth
  • • Build and manage budgets for all audience development initiatives 
  • • Partner with company leadership to set strategy, company goals, and KPIs


  • • A minimum of 8 years as a digital marketing professional, with at least 5 years of experience managing a team
  • • A proven track record of creating step-change revenue or audience growth in a commerce or media setting
  • • Deep expertise in technical and non-technical SEO, social platforms, and content syndication platforms
  • • Demonstrated ability to build strong, productive relationships with people and teams in all contexts
  • • Expertise in negotiating and executing contracts with a broad range of partners
  • • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • • A passion for leading teams and mentoring top talent
