Job Title: General Manufacturing Assembler

Reports to: Building Supervisor & Production Manager

Job Purpose:

A General Assembler is considered an entry level job position. Candidates hired for this position maybe assigned to multiple departments depending on work demand. Employees will need to be reasonably versatile to fill this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions and your supervisors verbal instructions.

Job Requirements

Follow safety procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.

Follow all Quality Assurance requirements in the assembly of product

Meet production standards

Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to maintain an acceptable work pace throughout the day.

Physical Demands

Standing for up to 8 -- 10 hours a day

Lift up to 25 lbs.

Move up to 50lbs

Use of hands and fingers to perform job function

Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and step

Pay and Benefits

Starting wage $14 per hour, $14.25 cents after 90 days and $14.50 cents after 180 days

Benefits 70% of Health Insurance Benefits (UPMC) paid by the company

401(k) with company matching 100% of the first 3% of wages contributed to the plan and 50% of the next 2% of wages (maximum company match amounts to 80% of the first 5% of wages contributed to the plan)

Interior work environment: Heated in the winter, A/C in the summer!

4 X 10 Hour Days - Friday off! (overtime maybe required)
