A stable and growing company in Sacramento is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. This Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for:
Receiving, matching, batching, and coding incoming invoices
Obtaining necessary approvals and processing payments on 300+ invoices per week
Process new vendor setup forms, maintain relationships, and yearly 1099s
Receive Purchase Orders from project team and issue PO's to vendors
Receive order acknowledgements, packing slips, and invoices, then package them with purchase orders and ensure proper cost coding
Weekly check runs, electronic payments, and expense report reimbursements
Maintain a log of purchase orders, buyouts, and subcontracts
Resolve any discrepancies associated with accounts payable
Other duties as assigned
