The Access-A-Ride Evaluator assumes full-time responsibility in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of evaluating Access-A-Ride applicants for program eligibility. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed and as assigned. This candidate will be fully trained to be a Certified Access-A-Ride Assessor/Evaluator. New Grads/Limited Permits Welcome.
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
Associate Degree in License Practical nursing with a current state license and registration
Must be Bi-Lingual
Excellent oral, written communication skills
Demonstrate competency in aspects of assessments and evaluations principles
Bachelors and/or Master's Degree
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conforms with the AAR MTA guidelines in formulating MTA AAR recommendations
Assumes responsibility in reviewing related medical records and previous recommendations (if applicable) that may influence the evaluator's recommendation
Assumes responsibility for the screening, evaluation, and assessment of MTA AAR applicants that are scheduled
Reviews medical information and conducts screenings prior to evaluations to determine the patient need for transport services and ability to benefit from the MTA AAR program
Maintains accurate billing information in accordance with facility procedures on a daily basis
Assumes responsibility in completing documentation within the acceptable time frame
