The In- Home Care Registered Nurse provides non-medical services to clients at home and initiates the medication services plan of care with quarterly visits or as needed.
Assist with initial evaluations and regularly reevaluate the client’s medication needs, and updating the plan of care.
Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing related needs.
Supervise, delegate, teach and train aspects of client care to unlicensed individuals.
Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse from the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Current CPR Certification.
Preferred 1+ years recent experience in a Home Health, Home Care, Long Term Care or Geriatric Rehab setting.
Must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
Must possess the ability to work independently without supervision; must be a self-starter and use good judgment in difficult situations.
Knowledge and experience interacting with clients of this nature.
Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others and a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles and ages.
Upon hire, all employees must pass a criminal background check and DMV check, Pre-employment drug test and have six satisfactory employment references.
Please note that as an organization receiving Federal monies as payment for Non-medical services, we do not consider recreational marijuana a legal drug regardless of state law.
