Responsible for receiving and organizing loan funding requests from approved lenders. Uploading the loans and all supportive documentation into the Calyx system and completing wire requests. Sending the wire requests to a bank representative and following up on wire delivery. Receiving original notes from lenders and preparing bailee letters to specific investors. Following up with lenders on original notes not received within 48 hours of funding. Managing the pipeline of loans from funding to payoff maintaining accurate files and accounting information. Other duties as assigned.
The individual must be able to concentrate in an open and fast-paced environment, have high degree of accuracy and be able to work well under pressure. The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to develop relationships with co-workers and customers. Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions, take direction from others and work well alone or in a group.
Incumbent delivers the highest level of service at all times to both internal and external customers.
The individual must obtain, be able to recall and apply information on various federal regulations that apply in the mortgage industry. Will be required to retain and apply knowledge of company policies and procedures on a daily basis. Must apply common sense reasoning, be able to request assistance from others when needed, and/or rely on judgment, prior experience and discretion to complete tasks associated with established policies, procedures and regulations.
One (1) years of mortgage industry related experience preferred but not required.
High school diploma or GED required.
The applicant must have a working knowledge of basic computer technology including the ability to organize electronic files. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills.
