Seeking a driven and talented Product Development Coordinator!
Company is a family of leading brands and businesses that design, manufacture, market and distribute furniture, equipment and supplies to professional customers serving the tattoo, pet grooming and spa/salon markets. The businesses operate independently while working together in the design, development and innovation of new products and receive support from the corporate company.
We are looking for a Product Development Coordinator paying up to $55k annual salary. Benefits would include; medical, dental, vision, & 401k.
Keys to Hire:
•2+ yrs experience in purchasing & inventory management
•1-2 yrs working with an ERP system
•Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel & be computer savvy
•Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.
•Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals and as set by management, through forecasting, planning and purchase order execution.
•Manages & negotiates Vendor / Supplier Agreements.
•Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
•Communicates with cross-functional departments regarding the status of product purchases and inventory levels.
•Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
•Works with Accounts Payable to authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation.
•Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
•Oversees domestic activities related to procurement of a finished goods, from intent to purchase through delivery of product.
•Consults with supervisor about problems such as equipment performance, output quality, and maintenance schedule.
•Issues written and oral instructions.
•Adjusts errors and complaints.
•Manages third party logistics; discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with third party logistics, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
