MajorActivities/Key Challenges:

  • Reportsto Plant Procurement Operations Manager

  • Supportsall relevant Plant Procurement Operations functions

  • Worksin close conjunction and alignment with Category and Capital Procurement

  • Assistson benchmarking efforts, should-be-cost analyses and business cases

  • Supportsthe Plant Procurement Operation Manager in planning and monitoring

  • Creates,develops and accounts for tools and templates to simplify and streamlineefficient communication between team members as well as efficient execution onall procurement-related tasks

  • Supportsinternal and external communication on procurement tasks and goals

  • Servesas help desk and support function on high yield procurement activities, e.g.supplier summits

  • Communicateswith suppliers on operational topics and supports negotiations and RfQs/RfPs inclose alignment with the Strategic Buyers

  • Participatesin supplier meetings as needed   

  • Liaiseswith Financial Shared Services to resolve purchase to pay issues

Basic:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing managementPreferred:•Minimum 4 year of previous work experience•Bachelor’s (4 year) degree in Business Administration/Economics, Supply Chain or Engineering •Good knowledge of procurement processes, especially purchase-to-pay (operational)•Technical understanding preferred•Proficiency in data-mining and software applications•Communication and negotiation skills•Customer-oriented
