Department:AG0509D Security & Disaster Recovery
Job Summary:The Security Analyst is responsible for administering security practices to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. The incumbent contributes to disaster recovery plans and assists with routine testing. The role supports network operations and network system administrators.
Contributes to security policies and procedures, and effective enforcement to maintain and document enterprise systems security controls and policies Reviews security violation reports and investigates possible security exceptions while staying current with emerging security threats Defines and assists with password maintenance requests from end-users Defines and helps to monitor firewall logs and other various network security measures Provides security documentation and cross training to Information Technology staff backups Administers and monitors security profiles for all corporate systems. Maintains network security end-user ID’s, directory access, and mailboxes including SAP applications across multiple client environments May assist with administration of SAP roles and access through SAP GRC functionality, in conjunction with internal Audit Assists in efforts to assess, mitigate, and prevent system malware attacks on corporate assets; maintains risk assessment of all systems and applications; and advises management on any critical security issues with recommended remediation. Participates in reviews of new or to existing systems to ensure security requirements are satisfied, prior to implementation, including risk assessment Assists with compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley and audit requirements for all systems, working with internal audit staff with regular tests and audits Assists with external security assessments and penetration tests with vendors.
Disaster Planning and Business Continuity
Assists in development, design, and implementation of disaster recovery plans and procedures for Headquarters and field locations Ensures regular and routine system backups are in place and usable for recovery purposes Assists with Business Continuity Plan for the business, including Corporate, CF manufacturing plant sites, and distribution facilities. Helps to ensure the disaster recovery plans adequately address the organization’s requirement and established timeframes related to business continuity in the most cost effective way. Periodically tests various portions of the Disaster Plan to verify results and modify where needed. Participates in plant and distribution facility Disaster Recovery tests and analysis of results to identify and recommend points of critical failure. Coordinates availability of disaster site and equipment requirements. Plans and executes cross-training to share disaster recovery knowledge with IT Staff. Assists in cross-training IT backup personnel to support disaster recovery processes.
Provides assistance in the monitoring and troubleshooting of network switches and routers, and uses remote monitoring tools. Involved with the configuration and maintenance of physical and logical network components. Provides appropriate levels of support for all aligned functions, per the IT Accountability matrix.
May assist with other projects or activities within IT.
Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts. Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies.
Successful incumbents will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MCSE with network security and disaster recovery experience. 2 - 5 years of security administration, including SAP 2 - 5 years of network administration and/or disaster recovery experience Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory. SAP GRC administration a plus CISSP certification strongly preferred Microsoft Certified System Engineer preferred Customer service oriented; excellent communication and analytical skills; and familiarity with SAP security
