Job Description

Assists Business Development team members with mobile assessments for assigned geographic location. Submits reports and specific plans monthly.

 Coordinates admission process as needed / requested, to include insurance verification and coordination, completes all pre-admission screenings on-site whenever possible

Provides marketing calendar for the month, and monthly summary report—due at first scheduled monthly meeting.  

Participates in scheduled strategic planning conference calls. 

Sends written correspondence and telephone correspondence as necessary and within appropriate time frames.   

Makes on-site marketing calls to appropriate referral sources to generate mobile assessment opportunities in assigned geographical areas.

Reports inquiry calls and client updates from specific referral sources to Admissions Department, as appropriate. 

Demonstrates workable knowledge and understanding of client intake assessment / admissions process.

Determines and reports potential contract opportunities to Business Development Director. 

Establishes good rapport and communicates well with persons inquiring about facility’s services, and schedules referral source visits to view facility and its services.

Supplies Call Center and Clinical Departments with appropriate referral information for client placement.   

Follows up on all contracts in a timely manner as outlined by policy. 

Has thorough knowledge of catchment area, referral sources and potential referral sources.    

Attends marketing meetings and discusses issues, progress, and concerns.   

Demonstrates workable understanding of departmental/facility goals and objectives as outlined in the annual strategic plan and in quarterly action plans. 

Completes Referral Service Agreement as per P.I. Monitor. 

Enters date of contact, account information and activities completed and scheduled into the salesforce system. All weekly activities will be entered by Tuesday morning.  

Weekly attendance at all clinical staffing meetings (by phone, OK) to provide and assist in the development and placement of patients completing programming to ensure cross referrals are made to Acadia sister facilities and reciprocation to referents

Manages marketing, mobile assessment activities in order to achieve best results. 

Meets individual goals for admissions to Galax.   

Meets individual goals for inquiries to Galax.

Considerable knowledge of marketing clinical assessment and admission criteria for all levels substance abuse treatment. Strong communication principles, practices and techniques. Referral knowledge for pre and post admission sources a must.

2 years Two years direct experience in counseling, Assessment, triage and discharge planning preferred
