A Commercial Bank in South Miami is looking for the following position.
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provides administrative assistance to the loan officer and staff, including updating loan data into the financial institution’s computers; Books and disburses closing cost on individual loans in regards to maintenance of insurance real estate taxes and other sensitive documentation. Maintains new and paid consumer loan files. Performs variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned.
Review, book and disbursement of new loans.
Review, book and disbursement of existing loan extensions, modifications, increases and consolidating.
Use of Jack Henry to appropriately disburse loan funds and payments.
Prepare checks, wires and other types of payment options.
Set up and maintain tickler system on Jack Henry.
Prepare payments for participant banks.
Preparation of all documentation for in house loans, consumer, commercial and Helocs.
Performs final review of all pertinent documentation according to the Bank’s policies and regulations.
Scanning, indexing and filling of all documentation in loan file.
Maintenance of current insurance, real estate taxes and other sensitive documentation.
Provides information on a continuous basis to the insurance outsource provider.
Maintenance of escrow loans, payment of insurance and escrow analysis.
Contacts customers, various officers and other staff members regarding new or existing loan files.
May assist other members of the Administration department.
May train new staff members as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Daily contact is required with customers, various officers and staff members to provide and collect information.
Work generally takes place in clean, pleasant and comfortable office setting. This position involves sitting for long periods of time with concentration on production and special projects and reports; daily use of the computer keyboard and screen; transporting confidential documents to different departments, fax machine, copy machine, answering phones, greeting employees, customers and vendors.
Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.
At least four years of banking experience in loan operations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Jack Henry (Silverlake).
Good organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent
Salary Requirements: 40K – 50K Based on Experience
