Job Description

Job Title – Process Operator, Process Technicians or Maintenance Technicians
Job Reference - 67705

Location – Robert, LA
Dates – September 11-15th and September 25-29th 2017

NES Global Talent is proud to partner with Shell and Texas A&M University to run a two- day research study in Louisiana.

We are seeking 50 qualified Process Operators, Process Technicians, or Maintenance Technicians with onshore or offshore experience to participate in a two-day study at the Shell Robert Training Center in Robert, Louisiana.

Participants will undergo a series of testing related to the skills and tasks they use on a daily basis. 

While helping out the O&G industry, participants will be offered full accommodation, chef cooked meals, and plenty of amenities to enjoy during their time off. Amenities include, but are not limited to: heated swimming pool, workout facilities, pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, X-Box and other gaming options, shuffle board, outdoor basketball, volleyball, and fishing area.

At the end of the study, participants will receive a $200 Gift Card and Training Certificate.

Qualifications

- Must be available for entire 2 days of the study

- Study dates are 2 days long and range in between September 11-15 and Sept 25-29. Participants do not need to be available the entire dates, but must be available for 2 consecutive days 
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working oil & gas processing facility – onshore or offshore
- Minimum of 1 years' experience working in one of the following positions: Process Operator, Process Technician, I&E Technician, or Maintenance Technician
- Experience with Lockout/ Tagout
- Experience with Start-Up, Shut down of processing trains or equipment
- Experience running and operating process equipment such as pressure vessels, compressors, pumps, motors, generators, and more
- Knowledgeable reading and interpreting P&ID's, PFD's, control wire diagrams, and more.
