Job Description

The Beaker Report Writer performs a variety of duties relating to the Clinical Information Systems applications. Responsibilities include: Assisting with design, development, implementation, and support of information systems for the organization; Planning, development, training, implementation, and evaluation of application functionality; Working with the team and key customers to ensure appropriate development, training, and implementation of application functionality for all components of Epic OpTime and linked programs, such as Epic Inpatient and Epic Ambulatory.REQUIRED
•-Knowledge of reporting tools and experience in business or clinical process improvement initiatives.
•-Experience using advanced application learning principles and system design standards.
•-Synthesizes knowledge of business operations and end-user requirements to improve or develop system design and training projects.
•-Experience organizing and communicating thoughts logically and develop insightful conclusions.
•-Experience exercising independent judgment and personal initiative and accept responsibility for decision and actions.
•-Experience producing high quality deliverables and perform at high level with minimal direction.

PREFERRED
•-Evaluates application of quality improvement principles, practices, and tools to system development.
•-Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.)
•-Knowledge and understanding of University policies and procedures.
