Sr. Process Engineer - Wire/Dye bonding, Thick/thin film

What You Will Be Doing

1.Oversight of production processes with a focus towards improving processes, avoiding problems, and the timely resolution of production issues. All activities are completed in an effort to support the on-time and cost efficient shipment of quality products that meet the performance expectations of the Military/Aerospace industry.

2.Develop plans, schedules, and identify resources required to improve existing processes and to develop and introduce new high yielding processes in a timely fashion.

3.Provide technical direction to Operations team including Outsource partners. Research new technology and assist in bringing new technical capability to Manufacturing or Outsource Partners.

4.Assist with new product and package development and provide support for the timely fabrication of new products.

5.Assist in developing creative approaches that favorably optimize design trade-offs for various elements of a design such as product cost, performance, feature set, time to market, and technical risk.


What You Need for this Position

1. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Sciences is required.
2. 7 or more years related experience preferred
3. Demonstrated ability to develop, articulate and present technical information in both written and verbal forms.
4. Knowledge of MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534, and Lean and Six Sigma techniques desirable.
5. Wire/Dye bonding experience
6. Thick /Thin film experience

Nice to haves:

1. Worked in a micro electronics fields like Medical Equipment, Automotive, or Aerospace Electronics.
