Job Description

Provide Administrative Support Services including prepare reports, papers and briefings and correspondence.
Maintain appointment calendars and conference room, schedules, schedule meetings and conferences including those involving staff from outside the immediate office.
Answer telephones, forward messages, and provide responses to routine queries.
Perform Defense Travel System functions on behalf of traveler.
Assist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing and monitoring action items, suspenses and responses.
Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures.
Manage multiple customer projects with great detail and accuracy. Including:
a. Oversee customer projects that require multi-office collaboration and resource allocation;
b. Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support in the functional area of contracting processes,
policies/procedures, and operations;
c. Disseminate information and communicate ideas on behalf of the Director/Deputy;
d. Ensure Director/Deputy is prepared for meetings and events;
e. Develop contracting operating plans, and measure progress against the strategic plan; and
f. Manage the office of the customer, to ensure all priorities and mission goals are achieved and contract operations are performed efficiently.
Collect, review, and analyze contracting data/metrics for DoD/SAF/MAJCOM/SMC level requests
Consolidate resulting information into a report and ensure posting/dissemination and povide an oral presentation to explain the contents of the report to the Government

Job Requirements

2+ years administrative or executive support experience
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
Proficient with MS Windows and MS Office applications and software.
US Citizenship is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain and retain the designated Government clearance (Secret). Must have an active DoD Secret clearance.

Bachelors Degree preferred
Knowledge of Livelink, SharePoint and DoD records management procedures.
