Essential Functions and Competencies

Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future solutions Analyze customer research, current market conditions and competitor information to establish go-to-market strategy Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our solutions in the market. Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of our solutions to the sales team and develop the sales tools and training that support the selling process Plan the launch of new products/solutions and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan Develop the demand generation strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products/solution Report

Qualifications / Education / Experience

The Solutions Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies and plans for Benchmark’s High Speed Circuit solutions. This role will work with engineering teams and subject matter experts to build solutions from existing concepts and products, and help to develop new solutions based on market opportunities, industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. This individual must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This individual must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market. This position is responsible for crafting the product/solution messaging and positioning, as well as conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Additionally, this individual will work closely with field marketing and help oversee the execution of the go-to-market initiatives based on the messaging and positioning. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial. The Product Marketing team will be a buyer’s expert, understanding their needs as well as buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge into marketing efforts as well as the sales channel This individual must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. They will work with an engineering counterpart to define solution requirements based on market need. They will help establish marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping to define the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. The Product Marketing Manager will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your solution offerings, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

Technical product marketing experience required, preference to High Speed Circuit solution marketing Very strong writing skills and ability to translate technical information into market positioning documents. Past technical writing skills a plus. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for a product, service, or division of a company. Demonstrated ability managing multiple marketing initiatives integrated with an overall go-to-market strategy. Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing and development processes. Strong leadership, sales support, project management and training skills. Should be able to develop effective relationships and operate with senior level management. Should be an expert in forwarding thinking, market research, and should possess problem-solving skills. Ability to listen to intended details attentively. Proven knowledge in market and customer research. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, governmental regulations, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such a probability and statistical inference. Experience working with CRM. Efficiently work under pressures, deadlines, and stretch extra hours to complete assigned task. Exceptional effectual communication skills. Demonstrated ability to align peer coworkers to strategy and initiatives. Enjoys working with scheduled deadlines. Works well with customers, vendors, partners, and management. Ability to establish coworker and customer trust and confidence. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such a probability and statistical inference. Willing to travel 25%

5+ years of technology product marketing experience Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
