Position Overview:

Masco Corporation's Legal Department has an opening for a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, customer service-focused and detail-oriented. This person will be encouraged to innovate and build upon current processes, working closely with the Department’s leadership team. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will need to be able to multitask efficiently and effectively to manage competing priorities. Success in this position will require the development of an extensive internal network within the department and our business units.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial and budget management, monthly forecast and accruals, as well as audit processes.
  • Administer Masco’s electronic matter management system (TyMetrix 360), including; managing day-to-day aspects of the system such as maintaining and monitoring performance; workflow, testing, dashboard reporting, end user access, support and training.
  • Improve processes and create efficiency for the department and its leadership team.
  • Manage litigation caseload, including directing outside counsel; acting as a liaison between business units and outside counsel; updating TyMetrix 360 with all pertinent case information and dates; approval of pleadings and coordinating settlements.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical, planning, problem identification and resolution skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and MS Outlook
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint (ability to create, revise and finalize presentations), MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • TyMetrix 360 experience
