Job Description


Provides group leadership and directon to Master Planners

assgned to a major product area or program. Administers a

system of program schedules to assure compliance with

contractual requirements, industry policies (DID 81650,

IPMR), and company processes. Leads the development of

schedule estimates in response to customer requests for

proposals. As a Master Planning Subject Matter Expert,

supports Independent Cost and Schedule Evaluations, Phase

Reviews, surveillance reviews, and proposal reviews.

Identifies trends and schedule risks, and recommends

corrective action and preventative measures. Supervisory

reaponsibilities include delivering training material; providing

timely feedback to employees; communication of functional

plans, goals, and ojbectives; administration of performance

appraisals; execution of appropriate personnel

actions; assignment of responsibilities; and implementation of

career development plans for assigned individuals. Involves

subordinates and coworkers in continuous improvement

intiatives. May be given special assignments and will have

high level contacts with customers, government personnel,

and auditors for the purpose of such things as program

performance, policy and process discussions, audits, and

contract negotiations.


Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting,

Business Administration, or similar; or equivalent experience,

and at least ten years of planning/scheduling experience; or a

Master's Degree and five years of related experience.

Qualified candidates must possess demonstrated subject

matter expertise within a DoD Master Planning role, have

direct experience leading program teams in schedule

development and analysis; possess excellent oral and written

communication skills; exhibit sound interpersonal skills

involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with

company personnel, customers, and suppliers; make

decisions using sound judgement while complying with

appropriate policies, procedures and applicable state and

federal laws and regulations. A thorough understanding and

proficiency with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Microsoft Project.
