BilingualMental Health Full Service Partnership Therapist



Responsibilities/Description:

  • Conduct strength-based, culturally competenttherapeutic services, consisting of individual, family and/or group therapy aswell as individualized intakes and/or other assessments as appropriate.
  • Provide services in the community or in thefield, consistent with contractual, programmatic and funding sourcerequirements.
  • Interact well with other internal programs,clinical/support staff and with external sources such as school or communitypersonnel as applicable.
  • Meet Agency requirements regarding billing forreimbursable services; consistently provide services in keeping with allprogrammatic and contractual requirements.
  • Assess and monitor client and/or familyprogress; evaluate outcomes and collaborate to adjust course of treatment asappropriate.
  • Meet Agency requirements regarding billing forreimbursable services; consistently provide services in keeping with allprogrammatic and contractual requirements.
  • Available to provide services until 8:00 pm.
  • Be on-call and/or participate in after-hoursrotation as designated.
  • Attend and actively participate in staffmeetings to provide input towards program development and staff training
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 Education and Previous Work Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree inMarriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology.
  • Must be a Licensed professionalor License-eligible, i.e.,LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, board-registeredMFT-Intern, ASW, MSW or Waivered Psychologist
  • Preference will be given to applicantswith two years post-degree clinical experience, but all applicants with theabove qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred(i.e., Spanish or other language relevant to the clients’ needs).
  • Experience workingwith ASAM criteria/DMH paperwork
  • Knowledge ofEvidence Based Practices is also highly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Californiadriver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics'liability policy.  May be required to obtaina Class II California driver’s license.
  • Mustpass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
