Bilingual Mental Health Full Service Partnership Therapist



Responsibilities/Description:


  • Conduct strength-based, culturally competent therapeutic services, consisting of individual, family and/or group therapy as well as individualized intakes and/or other assessments as appropriate.
  • Provide services in the community or in the field, consistent with contractual, programmatic and funding source requirements.
  • Interact well with other internal programs, clinical/support staff and with external sources such as school or community personnel as applicable.
  • Meet Agency requirements regarding billing for reimbursable services; consistently provide services in keeping with all programmatic and contractual requirements.
  • Assess and monitor client and/or family progress; evaluate outcomes and collaborate to adjust course of treatment as appropriate.

  • Available to provide services until 8:00 pm.
  • Be on-call and/or participate in after-hours rotation as designated.
  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings to provide input towards program development and staff training
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and organize work responsibilities to ensure completion of assigned tasks within preset timeframes.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, and identify ways to improve and promote quality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work cooperatively with employees, volunteers, and outside entities of diverse cultures, education, social, and economic backgrounds.

  • Demonstrates a professional command of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently use a computer/electronic equipment and learn necessary programs.

 Education and Previous Work Requirements:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Psychology.
  • Must be a Licensed professional or License-eligible, i.e., LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist, board-registered MFT-Intern, ASW, MSW or Waivered Psychologist
  • Preference will be given to applicants with two years post-degree clinical experience, but all applicants with the above qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred (i.e., Spanish or other language relevant to the clients’ needs).
  • Experience working with ASAM criteria/DMH paperwork
  • Knowledge of Evidence Based Practices is also highly preferred.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy.  May be required to obtain a Class II California driver’s license.
  • Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.
