Job Description

The responsibility of the Spec Shop - Power Train Supervisor is to plan and direct the activities of the Specialization Shop ensuring an acceptable level of profit while maintaining customer and employee satisfaction to include:

Maintaining the highest level of safety by ensuring company safety policy is followed at all time.

Establishing job priorities and scheduling daily job assignments to maximize customer satisfaction profitability.

Effectively managing all personnel to include professional development.

Ensuring employees, equipment and facilities are in compliance with all regulations, standards and company policies.
Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a heavy equipment shop to include previous management experience is required.

Must have knowledge of: Reuseability Guidelines, Engine Technical Marketing Information and Applied Failure Analysis.

Proven leadership ability and excellent people skills are required.

Must have strong planning and scheduling abilities.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with other departments are required.

Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and coordinate operations of different areas.

Must be able to manage the stress involved in a fast paced service operation.

Experience with interpreting financial information is required.

Prior experience with DBS systems is preferred.
