Job Description

The mortgage industry is the place to be in banking right now! My client is in need of several down to earth, go-getter mortgage lender to join their family. Specifically, they are seeking an experienced mortgage loan originator that can hit the ground running and be a valuable member to the team. This opportunity would be great for a community-minded individual that appreciates the flexibility and excellent culture this community bank provides.

Purpose of the Position

The Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) will be responsible for soliciting new business and originate mortgage loan products offered by the company. Continuously identifies, develops and maintains a network of business relationships to establish a constant referral source to originate new loans.

Duties/Qualifications

- Spends more than 50% of their time making calls and performing related sales activities in the field

- Has a network of referral sources such as Real Estate professionals, builders, etc.

- Has strong ties to the community through events and boards.

- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a mortgage loan originator capacity.

- NMLS License
