SUMMARY: As Inventory Manager, you will act as a process champion and will oversee the inventory management processes for monitoring and control. You will also oversee the integration of monthly inventory planning and monitoring process into the Sales and Operations cycle. You will be responsible for managing all daily inventory transactions in the warehouse and all activities related to inventory control ensuring that all inventory levels are accurate and that the physical inventory matches systematic records. DUTIES: • Direct inventory personnel to ensure compliance with systematic inventory levels • Coordinate daily job schedules, monitor inventory flow through the B2B and B2C process, forklift operators, safety compliance and project management as needed • Prepare reports that help insure we are on target to reach departmental goals • Maintain accurate inventory through the use of inventory control procedures • Responsible for transferring product in the system from one location to another • Revise and research all orders when there is a product discrepancy prior to an approval • Assist the shipping department when help is needed • Train and develop Inventory Clerks and Material Handlers in proactive approaches to inventory accuracy • Lead and train Warehouse and Production personnel on proper methods to maintain inventory accuracy throughout operation: Quality resolution, Production, Shipping and Receiving issues, Inventory movements • Manage processes and procedures that support and record all production and inventory activities in the WMS system • Maintain clear and effective communication on all inventory issues • Maintain warehouse and equipment safety standards and regulations Qualifications • Minimum three years’ inventory control experience • Minimum two years of management experience • Excellent problem solving skills and leadership • English speaking and Spanish a plus but not a must • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Forklift certification • Bachelor degree preferred • APICS / CPIM a plus • General knowledge in warehouse systems
