Job Description

Position Summary
An Industrial Mechanic to maintain a state-of-the-art, food 2 piece can-manufacturing line.
Shifts Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift. Weekends and Holidays as needed. Possibility of a continuous 4 days on 4 days off schedule if sales warrant that schedule.
A strong work ethic and related experience in a manufacturing environment are required.
Essential Job Function
Sound industrial mechanical experience. 
Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace.
Machinist back ground a significant plus.
 A full mechanic’s tool set, including micrometers.
The ability to work in close tolerances up to .00010”.
Work closely with supervision and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity and cost control advancements.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent .

EXPERIENCE: 5 years.

REQUIRED SKILLS: A proven industrial mechanical background .

PREFERRED SKILLS: Mechanical / Machinist Experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, walk, & lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis. Good vision capabilities and good communication skills.
