Overview

Put your DAP knowledge to work building and implementing an infant and toddler curriculum that is attentive to the individual children's language, social/emotional, physical, and cognitive developmental needs.

Responsibilities

Early Head Start Teachers work under regular direction to plan and deliver center-based child development services (for ages birth to three), facilitate parent involvement and transition services, and support other Early Head Start/Head Start service areas and community partnerships impacting direct service participants.

Qualifications

Tier 1:  AA degree in early childhood education, child development, or family studies or closely related field with a minimum of 18 college credits in early childhood education, child development, or family studies; one year of infant/toddler classroom experience required. Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card without restrictions preferred OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card without restrictions.

Tier 2:  BA/BS degree in early childhood education, child development, family studies or closely related field with a minimum of 18 college credits in early childhood education, child development, or family studies; one year of infant/toddler classroom experience required Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card without restrictions preferred OR must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card without restrictions.
