Job Description

This position is responsible for all applicable number of Contractor Outcomes of the Government Property Control System, including the maintenance of records and issuance of required reports concerninggovernment and customer-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination. Position includes self-audit and support of the Government's annual survey of the Government Property Control System.

Maintain auditable records of government-owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities. Ensure that the records include authority to have the property and an audit trail of receipt, inspection, cost, classification, periodic inventory, maintenance, and final disposition.

Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to government property. Maintain auditable backup data and files for: Loss, damage or destruction of property (LDD); Report applicable property in the Item Unique Identification (IUID) Registry; Reports of discrepancy on incoming shipments (RODS); Annual report of property for tax purposes; and Reports of inventory and excess property schedules for property no longer required.

Interface with Field Sites as well as customers and sub-contractors to meet equipment needs. Coordinate moves with Quality and DCMA.Process documentation required for all transactions.

Ensure that assets are received properly, and are identified and added to the appropriate system

Reviews vendor/subcontractor's control of government property in coordination with the Purchasing and Subcontracts Departments. This may be accomplished through site visits.

Performs self-assessment audits of compliance to published procedures and FAR/DFARS requirements. Coordinates all aspects of the analysis by interfacing with appropriate department personnel and the DCMA's Property Administrator, if necessary, secure any corrective actions necessary.

Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Skills And Education
College degree or equivalent and Administrative/Database/Audit experience. Analytical and computer skills required.
Excellent interpersonal skills ass well as written and verbal communications.
