Service Function:
The primary purpose of the Systems Consulting Services team is to support our client’s core infrastructure with their Windows Server, Exchange Server, SQL Server, IIS Servers as well as DNS, DHCP, AD, LDAP and ADFS Systems. This team comprises of a multi-level support structure consisting of administrators who support basic tasks, Specialists who configure and install these systems and Engineers who are the lead troubleshooters for the team.
Role Overview:
As a System Engineer Level I, your primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to Windows Servers, Azure, VMware and related components in order to ensure
the availability, reliability, sustainability and operation of information technology server’s software
applications, and all other IT related peripherals.
Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution support services on clients’ core infrastructure including: Windows Server platforms, Azure environments and other cloud based or on premises network components consisting of:
o VMware and Virtualization technologies
o Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019)
o Exchange Server Migrations
o Active Directory
o Office 365 Implementations (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
o SQL Server Builds
o DNS Administration
o DHCP Administration
+ Optimize client system performance meeting QOC metrics per client SLA’s
+ Provides remote helpdesk support to clients as needed
+ Provides after hours and weekend on-call support (as needed)
Perform setup and configurations services on clients core Windows Server such as:
o Windows Server Builds (2012, 2016, 2019)
o Exchange Server Migrations
o SQL Server Builds
o Office 365 Implementations
o Client office move support and configuration
Perform System Administrator level tasks for the core Windows Server Stack in order to maintain system performance via as:
o Administration of security groups/users for each system
o Administration of file and folder permissions
o General Windows Administration (i.e., GPO’s)
o Office 365 Account Administration
