Job Description

This SBU provides unique offerings such as high heat resins, functional compounds and additives, specialty fluids, nanotechnology and thermoplastics composites to industries such as Additive Manufacturing, Consumer & Industrial,  Electronics, Healthcare, Mass Transportation, Automotive and Water Management.

Role Purpose:
The Fulfillment Manager over sees a team of Master Planners. Responsibilities also include the balancing of service, cash and cost objectives while maintaining direct customer order fulfillment within North America and key feed stocks globally. In addition, this role is responsible for covering 5 different manufacturing sites with inventory accountability of over $50 million. Major responsibilities include:
Service Excellence
• Deliver on service metrics
• Act as voice of the customer with manufacturing sites
• Liaise with Customer Service Leadership proactively during times of supply disruption

Working Capital
• Deliver on inventory metrics
• Ensure all fulfillment systems are aligned and coordinated
• Participation during the monthly Sales & Operations Plan (S&OP)

Leadership
• Develop, motivate and retain employees through regular coaching, mentoring & assessment of training needs.
• Conduct annual performance review and set quarterly goals and objectives for materials management team members.

Key metrics include
• S&OP production and inventory accuracy
• Days Inventory On Hand
• Make to Inventory fill-rate
• Make to Order lead time accuracy
• Delivery to 1st Promise Date

Job Requirements

Education/Experience Requirements:
• BS/BA degree
• Minimum 5+ years Supply chain or manufacturing experience
• Strong working knowledge of materials management
• Demonstrated leadership skill
• Proven ability to influence at all levels in the organization
• Strong analytics; Proven ability to improve metrics through strong analytics and proven project leadership
• Strong financial acumen
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
