As our product engineer, you will be responsible for taking product concepts through development and market launch. You will work directly with research engineering, manufacturing engineering, contract manufacturing, compliance engineering, quality assurance, and product management to launch market-leading solutions. Your day to day will involve design calculations, CAD model development, project record keeping, project timelines, and project management. You bring to the table at least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience. You will utilize CAD extensively (ideally you will have some NX background, but it is not a requirement) and analysis tools to design and develop new products from conception to implementation, developing mechanical assemblies and mechanisms. The mechanical engineer will apply sound mechanical engineering principles combined with creative problem solving, in a collaborative team environment to conquer engineering challenges, while also providing technical assistance and information to other internal Panduit engineers and partners on the application, design, materials, performance, and reliability of products.
