Delicato Family Vineyards has an exciting immediate career opportunity for a Social Media Specialist in our Napa, CA office. Delicato is a family-owned, family-run, fourth generation wine company with facilities in Napa, Manteca, and Monterey. The family continued to expand the winery, purchase prime vineyard land, and craft wine brands that consumers love. POSITION PURPOSE The Social Media Specialist will lead the strategy, planning, execution, advertising, tracking, and measurement across all social media channels for the brands in Delicato's National portfolio. This position partner with Brand Management teams with the brand strategy, planning, execution, tracking, and measurement across all social media channels for the brands in Delicato's National portfolio. He/She will work collaboratively with Brand Management, Public Relations, Digital Marketing and Creative Services to ensure that the brand voice is accurately communicated across all social channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and more. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY * Understands, communicates, and shares Company vision throughout division/organization and provides cross-functional perspective, direction, and support * Provides leadership and personal support; leads by example * Drives Company focus, manages culture, encourages strong work ethic, and fosters an environment of trust and respect * Communicates and supports Company policies and decisions in a positive manner * Handles employee issues, concerns, and complaints in an objective and confidential manner * Provides employees with a safe, comfortable, and rewarding work environment ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Drives brand social strategy and execution across all social channels for brands within the Delicato National portfolio, including Bota Box, Noble Vines, Gnarly Head, and more * Manages outside social media agencies where needed * Provides direction to brand mangers on social media tactic * Develops social media strategy and content to align with brand plans. Leads Brand, Public Relations, and Digital Marketing teams in cultivating and maintaining an authentic and consistent voice for each brand across all social media channels * Consistently provides strategic direction and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, i.e., content development firms, PR agencies, video production companies, technology vendors, etc., to ensure 360 degree programming is consistent and customized across all social platforms * Manages outside agencies and ensures brand standards and compliance are upheld, while deliverables are provided in a timely manner * Develops social media calendar, via Hootsuite or other social media management platform, to plan out social media content and advertising in various channels and further enhance brand activities during the key periods of the year * Evaluates social and digital channels and develops/manages content and advertising plans for each channel in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager * Consistently track and analyze social media efforts and deliver solutions to adjust or enhance programs * Monitor and analyze competitive social activity * Manage social media spend and budget, as well as consistently measuring ROI and campaign results * Seek out new social channels and determine relevancy for engagement for each brand * Works with Creative Services to create compelling content, i.e., written posts, photos, videos, etc., to drive engagement in all social channels and further amplify and complement brand programs * Work on special projects as assigned NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Maintain a rolodex of social media vendors and services MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, or comparable discipline * 4-5 years of directly related experience * Wine or Spirits Industry experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Global understanding of the way that social media is used as a brand platform to communicate business objective * Excellent planning, organization and communication skills * Stays at the leading edge of industry trends * Advanced knowledge of social media advertising * A self-starter, detail oriented, and results driven attitude * Able to work within a team environment and build cooperative and collaborative relationships with those inside and outside the department * Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook * Experience with graphic software such as Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator desired. * Solid understanding of social and web analytics tools * In depth knowledge of all social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) * Knowledge of the digital landscape and how it relates to Consumer Packaged Goods WORK STANDARDS * Acts in a manner reflective of the Company culture of High Moral Standards, Innovation and Continuous Evolution, Trust in Team, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable Relationships * Communicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concerns in a constructive manner * Demonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training * Follows all Company policies and procedures Delicato offers its employees a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
