Job Description

Church & Dwight Co., Inc., is currently seeking co-ops in our Information Technology for our 2018 program. Co-ops work an 8 month assignment, rotating between 3 projects, beginning in January and ending in August 2018; all positions are located in our Ewing, NJ headquarters. Candidates will drive 2-3 projects within the 8-month period.

Department Overview:
 
Digital Analytics and Business Intelligence:
As part of newly created dedicated analytics department, we are seeking candidates with passion for data and visualization utilizing latest open source technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, D3.js, ELK, etc. on MS-Azure cloud environment. Candidates will be involved in multiple global DW projects for data ingestion, computation and transformation to help organization drive valuable insights. A co-op in Data Analytics is a great opportunity to learn latest technologies with a focus on CPG industry.
Productivity and Collaboration:
This group is primarily responsible for collaboration and Service Management tools that increase workflow efficiency within and across departments.  The group responsibility includes cloud application deployment, mobile apps, and web-based productivity tools. The candidate will have the opportunity to work hands on building workflows, sites, and web forms within the Service Management Tools (Service Now) and Collaboration platform (O365).
Operations IT:
MES:
MES is a shop floor software system that collects data from devices on a manufacturing line and provides the ability for operators and management to optimize the operation of the equipment to improve performance and quality of the products. The project will focus on assisting with developing and implementing a database archive solution to QA and production environments in the Church and Dwight manufacturing facilities.
Logistics System:
Our IT organization supports a large implementation of warehouse management system (WMS) in multiple Church and Dwight facilities. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with our support team to assist in the deployment of the software, hardware infrastructure, and enhancements to the WMS across multiple sites.
Business Engagement:
BEM is the strategic relationship role with the different functional departments. This role drives functional technology investment roadmap and strategy. They serve as a liaison between IT and functional leadership teams ensuring there is alignment between IT strategy and the key business drivers. This role is also responsible for ideation and bringing in industry best practices.
The candidate would:
  • Assist Business Engagement manager in project mobilization coordination activities
  • Work on Product data management project – Work on product data management solution templates , rules and gathering of digital assets requirement
  • Assist in marketing technology research and vendor engagement 
Qualifications:
  • Juniors or Seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology or Business/Marketing related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel strongly preferred)
  • Able to manage multiple timelines and priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company.
