BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
 

 
SUMMARY
 
Computershare Governance Services offers corporate governance and compliance solutions to help companies transform their business practices and stay ahead of ever-changing market dynamics. We are looking for high energy Business Development Manager who’s ready join a technology company who’s been disrupting the Registered Agent market. As CGS continues to rapidly grow and expand into new markets, we will need result driven, career motivated individuals to aid in our on-going success.
 
This role is the primary front-line sales person and will be responsible for the sale of registered agent services and our entity management program within their selected territory. The Business Development Manager assumes overall ownership of the sales process; delivers against the strategic and financial objectives set for them and may sell services from multiple product lines within the governance industry. Candidate must be highly driven, self-motivated, have outstanding client presentation abilities and have superior communication and interpersonal skills. This is a dynamic position that encompasses the full-cycle sales process. This role carries strategic importance for the development; growth and future of CGS therefore highly enthusiastic individuals are encouraged to apply.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identifies and maintains sales leads and develops a list of prospects in territory.
  • Develops sales plans for territory.
  • Makes presentations to key decisions makers at prospective companies.
  • Manages entire sales cycle from identification through to close, including presentation, request for proposal responses, contract negotiations and transition to other departments for future servicing.
  • Develop a sales plan for prospects for current and future needs.
  • Utilize the required CRM tools to manage the leads, opportunities and new deals.
  • Attend conferences and industry related events.
  • Establish ongoing relationships with internal and external sales channels.
 
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
 
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a background in Governance Services, ideally in the Registered Agent Industry. 
 
LANGUAGE ABILITY
 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 
COMPUTER SKILLS
 
Word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, Internet, e-mail, multimedia, and database software knowledge is required.

 
MATHMATICAL ABILITY
 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
