Who We Need: Schilli NationaLease currently has a full-time service coordinator position available at our Remington, Indiana office. We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused individual with a knack for problem-solving and a love of learning to fill it. This vacancy has a Monday through Friday schedule with hours from 2 PM to 11 PM ET.


What You'll Do: The service coordinator’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Answering incoming calls from vendors, drivers, and other Schilli personnel, entering call information into the AS400 system, and determining the best course of action based on the situation

  • Performing regular check calls to shops to receive updates on unit repair status

  • Processing billing information received from vendors

  • Recording Comchek, hotel reservation, and shop work data on Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

  • Responding to questions from customers and drivers submitted through the Qualcomm system

Job Requirements


Our Ideal Candidates: The best fit for our positions will have the following qualifications:

 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or other equivalent 

  • Prior experience in the transportation industry or in a high-volume call center environment a plus

Skillset:

  • Basic computer knowledge; Prior experience with AS400 a plus

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude

  • Basic United States geography knowledge

  • Intermediate level or higher Microsoft Office knowledge

  • Able to focus on current task and filter out distractions
  • Able to remain calm in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Active listening
  • Attentive to detail
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks by level of importance

Physical:

  • Able to sit upright at assigned workstation for entire work shift
  • Able to write and type for communication and data entry purposes for entire work shift
  • Able to listen to others and speak clearly very frequently in order to communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers
  • Able to stoop and bend over somewhat frequently for filing duties
