An academic organization located in the Rosemont, IL area is seeking a detailed and independent Administrative Assistant to join their team. The Administrative Assistant will be working with the marketing and communications department to support their credentialing process as well as oversee member activity and other administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is adaptable and able to work with various levels of individuals. The compensation for this role is $40-44K..

Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Manage correspondence and field inquiries appropriately
  • Audit and update database information
  • Oversee the entire credentialing process
  • Assist with content creation for bi-annual newsletter
  • Communicate with the organization’s stakeholders
  • Track members’ participation and fulfillment of duties
  • Compile data and process reports as requested
  • Arrange meeting logistics and prepare materials
  • Occasionally act as back-up to reception
  • Liaise with other administrative employees

Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Experience working within a database preferred
  • Experience with credentialing preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with SharePoint or similar
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
