Vantage is currently recruiting for a Network Development Representative (NDR) to grow our provider network as we expand our business into the state of Arkansas! We are looking for a bright, motivated, service-driven professional to act as the primary point of contact for providers and potential providers within their assigned counties/parishes regarding questions, issues, claims status, etc. This role will require travel with possibility of overnight stays. Depending on location, the NDR may work from home and report to the Monroe office periodically following training.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Locate and contract providers in their assigned counties/parishes to obtain network adequacy for all Vantage plans, and establish a plan of action for recruiting new providers

• Visit all PCPs and Specialists in their assigned counties/parishes quarterly to give updates on VHP and resolve any problems or questions the provider has with Vantage

• Visit hospitals in their assigned counties/parishes every 6 months to get updated rosters and explain any VHP updates

• In-service and complete site reviews on new providers in their counties/parishes

• Document detailed visit logs daily/weekly

• Develop and administer education and training to providers and office staff

• Manage mailings and faxes to providers

• Provide on-going technical assistance to providers and their staff

• Work independently and within a team on special projects as needed

• Type and design general correspondences, memos, etc. 

• Research and respond to appeals

• Handle provider complaints and grievances in assigned counties/parishes









Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Ability to travel with possibility of overnight stays

• Marketing and/or sales experience preferred

• Knowledgeable on provider contracting and credentialing

• Ability to interact effectively with all staff and other professionals

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Internet

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

• Ability to work under stress
