Our Client is seeking a QC Line Technician in Pennsauken, NJ.

Earn $16.65 per hour at this full-time, temp-to-hire position.  Work 40 hours per week between Sunday and Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.  This will be a rotating schedule, i.e., 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off.  Candidate must have a flexible schedule.

Job Description:

  • Monitor production, processes and finished product with a focus on food safety and quality
  • Ensure finished product meets customer specifications
  • Assist with customer complaints
  • Release and maintain COA file
  • Always keep work areas and equipment clean, taking swabs and testing cleanliness of equipment
  • Obtain liquid ingredient samples from bulk containers and perform testing
  • Verify product codes and chart recorders
  • Perform required testing of products (raw & finished), recording product specifications
  • Analyze batch samples and/or liquid ingredients
  • Recommend adding or subtracting of ingredients
  • Place packing, raw material, batches or finished product on hold
  • Copy batch cards for kitchen operators 
  • Monitor the filler to ensure weights, chart codes, labeling, pasteurizer temps are accurate by performing hourly checks
  • Test run samples as requested
  • Maintain paperwork and files to ensure accurate administration
  • Testing of microbiological counts and recording/charting results (as required by work facility)
  • Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action


  • High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
  • 1 year experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in quality control is preferred
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots)
  • Be able to apply intermediate computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning
  • Must be able to use tools/gauges (refractometer, salt titrator, acid titrator, PH meter, color meter, moisture meter, consitometer)
  • Ensure all equipment is set up, calibrated and functioning properly throughout shift
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work with extreme loud noises
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and/or push up to 80 lbs on a cart

*  There is potential exposure to caustic chemicals in this position.
